The League was formed as a 'Fun' league in the Summer of 1993 under the leadership and guidance of Mick Albert now sadly deceased.
The initial sponsors of the League were Lewisham Leisure.
Originally all teams were within a minimum cab fare from the Lewisham Clock Tower. Teams further afield have joined since but the bulk of members are still in the Lewisham/Catford area.
We now play to International Rules. Initially this was without timekeeping but from Summer 2024 the 45 second stop clock is used.
The format is 3 sessions of 4 frames. 3 points for a win. If a team looses 7-6 then they get a losing bonus point and the winning team only gets 2 points.
All players must be registered and a team can have up to 14 players registered at any one time.
